No account, no analytics, no ads and no tracking. What you do in the app stays on your iPhone.
This is stored only on your device and is never sent to us or anyone else. It may be included in your iPhone's own backups, following your Apple settings. Deleting Tidewater deletes it.
Tidewater Premium is sold through the App Store. Apple handles the payment, and we never see your card or Apple Account details. Apple gives us only anonymous sales totals. Apple's own handling of your information is described in Apple's privacy policy.
If you contact support, we use your email address and message only to reply to you. Ask us at any time and we'll delete them.
Tidewater is suitable for all ages. Because it collects no information from anyone, it collects none from children.
If this policy changes, we'll update it on this page and change the date above.
Questions, problems or ideas for new practices are all welcome. We aim to reply within a few days.
Sign in with the same Apple Account, open Tidewater, tap Premium at the top right, then Restore purchases.
On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Tidewater, and choose Cancel Subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before it renews. You keep Premium until the end of the period you've paid for.
New subscribers to the yearly plan get the first week free. If you cancel before the week ends, you aren't charged. Otherwise the yearly plan starts when the week is over.
Refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, and choose Tidewater.
Turn up your volume. On a practice screen, check the bell button at the top right isn't crossed out. Chimes play alongside your music or podcasts rather than stopping them.
In the library, tap the icon button at the top left and choose Tide, Ember, Breath wave or Horizon.
Only on your iPhone. It isn't synced between devices, and deleting the app removes it.
No. Tidewater is for relaxation and general wellbeing and doesn't give medical advice. Breathe gently, and if you feel dizzy or light-headed, stop and breathe normally. If you have a heart, lung or other health condition, check with your doctor before trying breath holds.
Tidewater is provided under Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and can be managed in your Apple Account settings.
